Bryana has been interested in the mind-body connection for many years, beginning her journey with a Degree in Human Kinetics from UBC, minoring in Psychology. After completing the degree in Human Kinetics, Bryana did a 2 year apprenticeship with courses at University of Western Ontario to become a Pedorthist.
She analyzed gait and biomechanics as a Pedorthist, and then switched to working as a Kinesiologist to develop her active rehabilitation skills. During that time, she developed interest in Eastern medicine, and began studying the International Institute of Medical QiGong with Shen Journey and Empty Mountain.
She then worked as a QiGong therapist with patients who had experienced a motor vehicle accident. As her passion for eastern healing arts continued, she began studying Traditional Chinese Medicine at Kootenay Columbia College in Nelson. She transferred to Pacific Rim College to complete her studies, and graduated with a Diploma of Acupuncture.
She is currently practicing Acupuncture in Rossland, with Alpenglow Therapeutic
